Rockfish Public House is a fresh seafood restaurant located in historic downtown York, Pennsylvania. We source wild-caught and sustainably harvested and farmed seafood every day and feature that seafood in dishes with creative combinations of flavors.
Opened in 2016, Rockfish Public House is owned and operated by the White Rose Restaurant Group of York, Pennsylvania. White Rose Restaurant Group operates two restaurants in the York area: White Rose Bar & Grill in downtown York and White Rose at Bridgewater at the Bridgewater Golf Club in York Township. Tom Sibol is co-owner and CEO of White Rose Restaurant Group, which proudly operates White Rose Bar & Grill in downtown York, White Rose at Bridgewater at the Bridgewater Golf Course in York Township, and Rockfish Public House in downtown York. As the third generation owner of White Rose Bar & Grill, Tom continues a commitment to serving the York community. Today, Tom’s daughters Laura and Natalie are also part of the White Rose team. Tom considers his employees and guests of all the White Rose Restaurant Group establishments as part of his extended family.
Co-owner & COO
Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer Jeremiah Anderson became a partner in White Rose Restaurant Group in 2008. Since joining the White Rose team, Jeremiah has overseen the development and opening of Rockfish Public House in 2016 and White Rose at Bridgewater in 2019. Jeremiah takes pride in working with the York community and building a dedicated team of hospitality professionals.
Culinary Director & Co-owner
As culinary director and co-owner of Rockfish Public House and the Valencia Ballroom, Chef David Albright contributes his expertise to projects designed to enhance the hospitality experiences at these downtown York dining and event establishments. Known for his creative menus, astounding attention to detail, and passion for cooking, David brings more than 30 years of culinary experience to the Rockfish Public House and Valencia teams. Upon completing his culinary studies at Johnson & Wales University, he worked as a chef at two York County country clubs before becoming owner and executive chef at a longstanding downtown York restaurant, which he served for 19 years. More recently, he launched David Albright Chef Services and has provided restaurant consulting, branding, menu development, and related services to aspiring and established restaurateurs and hospitality professionals.
Sous chef Brian Hare received his introduction to the restaurant and hospitality industry at age 14 when he began working at a small diner where he held various roles including dishwasher, host, busser, server, and line cook. After leaving the diner, Brian served for one year at the former Bogey Macaws restaurant in York, Pennsylvania, in the catering and kitchen departments. He joined the White Rose Restaurant Group team close to nine years ago at White Rose Bar & Grill’s downtown York location. Upon the opening of Rockfish Public House in 2016, Brian moved from the White Rose Bar & Grill kitchen to the Rockfish kitchen where he works with our celebrated culinary team to create the outstanding dishes that appear on our menu.
Executive Chef Abby Shelley is no stranger to the downtown York restaurant scene. Before becoming executive chef at Rockfish Public House in 2016, she worked at White Rose Bar & Grill, part of the White Rose Restaurant Group family of restaurants. Abby’s creativity with pairing premium fresh seafood with innovative flavors inspires the creations that can be found on the Rockfish menu.
Growing up in Annapolis, Maryland, Robert Faucette learned from an early age that quality is everything when it comes to a top-rate experience with seafood. As general manager of Rockfish Public House, Robert is proud to ensure guests receive a top-rate dining experience in the heart of downtown York, Pennsylvania. No stranger to the York restaurant scene, Robert, a 15-year hospitality industry veteran, has held positions as pastry chef at the Yorktowne Hotel and served as director of operations for the former Taste Test: A Restaurant Incubator in downtown York.
Assistant General Manager
Longtime York residents who know Annette Fisher know about her unique ability to pair faces with food orders. Having owned and operated Bair’s Fried Chicken in downtown York’s Central Market for 11 years, Annette has been fortunate to get to know the people of York, Pennsylvania — and their penchant for good food. Annette began her career in the food industry, a career which spans close to three decades, as a server and bartender at the former Pub on the Trail. During her 17 years of work at this establishment, she developed a personal passion for providing great food and great service. In addition to her ownership of Bair’s Fried Chicken, Annette served as operations manager for Central Market during the beginning phases of the market’s renovation from 2009 to 2011. As assistant manager of Rockfish Public House, Annette enjoys greeting guests and making them feel like family when they’re dining out in downtown York.
